1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the network:

Account: your name or business name, email address and password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and we never see them in plain text.
Profile and business details you choose to add: photo, banner, bio, phone, WhatsApp, website, contact email, address, city, ZIP, social links, services, languages, hours, prices, payment methods, license and insurance information and ownership badges. Your license number is private; only you and our administrators can see it.
Location, only if you share it: when you use "Near me" or "near me" searches we store an approximate location in a cookie on your device so we can show nearby businesses.
Activity on JaveeAds: follows, likes, comments, shares, reviews, saved deals, quote requests and answers, messages, referrals, recommendations and notifications.
Usage events: views and clicks on ads, profile visits, reel views and contact actions (for example, tapping "Call" or "WhatsApp"). Businesses see these as statistics and leads.
Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and the plan status; we never receive or store your full card number.
Technical data: basic logs from our hosting and database providers (such as IP address, browser and time of request) used for security and troubleshooting.

2. How we use it

To create and secure your account and show your public profile.
To personalize your feed and reels using your interests, follows, likes and, if shared, your location.
To power search, the map, the trust score and quote comparisons.
To deliver messages, quote requests, referrals and notifications between members.
To give businesses statistics about their ads and the people who contacted them.
To process subscriptions and one-time purchases through Stripe.
To send service emails, such as welcome emails and weekly performance reports for businesses.
To keep JaveeAds safe: preventing spam, fraud and abuse, and moderating comments.

3. What is public

Business profiles, their ads and reels, business details, reviews, comments, recommendations between businesses, follower counts and the trust score are public. Your name and photo appear next to the comments and reviews you post.

Your email address, saved deals, interests, messages, quote requests, referrals and payment information are not public.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run JaveeAds, and only what they need:

Supabase: database, authentication and file storage.
Vercel: website hosting.
Stripe: payments and the billing portal.
OpenAI: understanding what you type in the search box, writing business bios on request, checking comments for abusive content and generating AI images in Ad Studio.
Google Maps and OpenStreetMap: turning addresses, cities and ZIP codes into map locations, and showing maps.
Resend: sending emails.

5. Other sharing

When you contact a business, request a quote, message someone or send a referral, the people involved receive the information you send them.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our members or JaveeAds, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

6. Cookies and local storage

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Sign-in cookies from our authentication provider keep you logged in.
jv_lang remembers your language (English or Spanish).
jv_view remembers whether a business is viewing the site as a business or as a customer.
jv_loc stores the approximate location you chose for "Near me".
Your browser's local storage keeps deals you saved before creating an account and whether you collapsed the side menu.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. When an account is deleted we remove or anonymize its personal information, except what we must keep for legal, tax or security reasons (for example, payment records).

8. Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile, business details, interests and language at any time in Settings or your profile.
You can remove the location you shared from the "Near me" page.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your dashboard.
To get a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account, email us at javi@tapygo.com. We will answer within 30 days.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access rules in our database so members can only read what they are allowed to, and private storage for sensitive fields. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects it.

10. Children

JaveeAds is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. You must be at least 18 to open a business account or buy a plan. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If the changes are important we will tell you on the site or by email. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
